Abstract

Evidence-based nursing has its practical expression through different models that have been described for its implementation in different organizations. These models are the from the classic Iowa, Stetler or Rogers models up to the most current promoted by Joanna Briggs Institute, without forgetting the PARISH framework. All of them seek a comprehensive approach to the practice of EBN. From an educational point of view, EBN is described through five phases that form a continuum of improvement.
