Late Diagnosis of Complete Hydrated Mola in a Country Underdeveloped

Abstract

Every two minutes a woman dies in the world for complications related to pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium. 99% of them belong to underdeveloped countries. The cooperation to the development helps by giving a quality assistance to the weakest areas. The presented case is about a Cameroonian woman that attends Mayo Rey Foundation Hospital with an anormal evolution of her pregnancy. She was diagnosed with a complete hydatidiform mole of advanced evolution (24 weeks) that required hysterectomy and bilateral anexectomy.
