Abstract

From the nursing profession, we could, we should say a lot, because our professional future is linked to our own health model and to that reality that we describe. We need a light, a horizon, to know where we are going. The world is changing, and in the new panorama that is emerging, care is going to be the axis of health care, the demand for health, just like the management nurse to coordinate all the professionals involved in the care process. But nobody should think that they are going to come looking for us so that we can assume our role. Nurses have to take a step forward from the first moment, they have to take the reins of their future, or others will do it again for them.
