Prevention of infectious diseases during pregnancy.

Abstract

During pregnancy, multiple changes take place in the maternal organism, among which is a decrease in the response of the immune system. In order to reduce the vertical transmission of diseases to the newborn, we have multiple strategies, among which primary prevention stands out from the preconception period. This research work has been prepared with the aim of identifying general measures for the prevention of infectious diseases during pregnancy. After conducting a bibliographic search in the different databases and electronic resources, an infographic has been prepared to inform pregnant women about the measures to prevent infectious diseases.
