Nurse invisibility

Abstract

The world has seen that nurses are tireless workers and that we have not hesitated to perform our work in impossible working hours if the circumstances required it, and assuming innumerable risks that we accepted the moment we decided to become nurses. But little is said about the participation of our work in the health decisions that have been taken during the pandemic because they are so few that we could qualify them as nonexistent. We nurses wonder why we are not represented in leadership positions, why governments do not count on our science to decide on population care, why we are not able to transmit our expertise, we are probably not doing something right.
